To prepare for your field trip

Just a few suggestions for a smooth field trip. There is lots to do, learn, and fun to be had. Taking care of preliminaries insures everybody has a great time.
Make sure every driver has a map and directions, we are not located in Las Cruces, we have had field trips that ended up there. Our web site has map and directions. Make sure the bus drivers bring the kids to the right place. We are located outside El Paso city limits 10-15 minutes from I-10.

- Have all money collected and counted from students, parents and teachers.
- Have a total count of all attendees (students, teachers, parents).
- For your convenience you may download a tally sheet to facilitate this process.
You may bring:
- Water or money to purchase a water bottle for $1.25
- Lunch or snacks
- bug spray
- comfortable shoes
- hats
- cameras
- extra money for incidentals
- Kids may bring money for snacks if your school allows it
- first aid kit
- Kids dress appropriately. Towards the season's end the air can be rather cold..
Remember:
- Allow plenty of time all activities (3 hours +)
- Departure time should be scheduled no later than 2:00 pm
- At least a 10 day notice cancellation required.
